About Sue Minor

Sue Minor was raised in Bexley, Ohio. She graduated from Bexley High School and then attended The Ohio State University where she received a bachelors degree in education, a masters degree in guidance and counseling, and a doctoral degree in instructional design.  

She has always been a person who creates. Her creative preferences are in woodworking and painting. She is a self-taught wood-worker. Her art education is as follows: Mr. Travela in elementary school (a good beginning); Saturday art school in a building behind the Columbus Museum of Art; night classes in color theory and composition at the Columbus College of Art and Design; art history, drawing, and studio work at The Ohio State University; painting classes with Joe Lombardo (plein air and studio), Tracey Steinbrook and Bonnie Weir at The Columbus Cultural Art Center, studio work with Michael McEwan, and studio work with Paul Hamilton.
